Green Smoothie

 

1 kale leaf

1/2 cup water

2 bananas

1/2 apple

 

Makes approximately 2 cups

 

 

2 kale leaves

1 cup water

4 bananas

1 apple

 

Makes approximately 4 cups

 

 

3 kale leaves

2 cups water

8 bananas

2 apples

 

Makes approximately 7 cups

 

 

Blend (the high-speed Vitamix® blender works perfectly) the water and kale into a green water. Add apples and bananas, blend until smooth. Add more water to make thinner, if desired.

Other greens may be used besides kale (e.g., lettuce, celery).
